Hugo Chavez told Spanish newspaper ABC that a “tectonic weapon” launched by the US Navy was capable of triggering a powerful earthquake off the coast of Haiti. All i can say is that i’m shocked that Chavez has stated this theory. The media here does not show how much proof Chavez has behind this but it is still a very big risk he took to say that, especially since he and the United States have been at each others throats since the Bolivarian Revolution. It seems some of the commentators here don’t really know much about Chavez or his struggles but I wish people would think before they judge someone based off of one media report.
