Did the Haitian people get what they deserved for making a deal with the devil for their freedom?
If the Haitian people were smart, they would have made a deal with Ogoun, the Haitian vodou god of fire, iron, politics, thunder and war for freedom from the french instead of dealing with that stag-turning asshole Satan. Everybody knows that Satan is a double-dealing liar who would destroy your country with an earthquake as soon as look at you just for kicks if he got the chance. Buttons on them.

There is no such a thing as Satan. That is a Christian invention to rake in money.
Does your suggestion also apply to California, Japan, China or other countries also prone to quakes? If that was the case Nazi Germany would have had dozens of them as you cant get anymore evil than that regime.
In the face of a natural disaster, that has left thousands of people dead and millions of people affected, people still manage to say something as disgusting as this.
I believe, as most rational/sane people do, that Satan does not come in the form of matter. you don’t walk up to him and say ‘So, can I have a doughnut for my soul’? Likewise, you don’t trade your freedom for eternal damnation. The fact that you’re even considering Satan as a cause for that earthquake defies human intelligence.
But let’s appease this idea of the Haitians ‘getting what they deserve’. you’ll get what you deserve for asking this question when you’re burning in hell. Sound nice to you?
