be more specific. open my ears & mind to what. from my study of history,sociology,and psychology, most religions were used for political purposes and control over nations, especially christtianity. most haitians talk about the negative sides of voodoo. almost everything is blame on or cause by voodoo. it’s not helping the country. we need to focus more on technology.

white peoples beliefs are always “right” because look at their lives and look at yours…compare, contrast and examine them both and you’ll see that the white man is helped by mighty powers as well. Name one white country who did not own slaves?America is rich,because of 400 years of blacks slavery.The wealth the african slaves provides to the white countries-is still there.wealth does not disappear;Instead,it moves from generation to generation. Hmm…when did this become a debate about white people or countries? The point is that voodoo is wrong no matter what! I am a black woman and it is not a part of who we really are! We need to realize this God/Jesus is the answer to all of our problems.

I hear what you’re saying, but I do not believe in spirit religion it’s demonic and I believe it is of the devil. im not trying to be rude or anything, but you seem to be quite narrow minded. its fine that you are christian, voodoo has aspects of christianity as a part of it. but dont condem something because its different.

The point I possibly didn’t make clear is that; to seek validation spiritually, you must have some degree of spiritual awareness. From the statements you made I can assume that your views were probably indoctrinated into you. You said spirit religions are demonic? Well what is Jesus..not a spirit.

At any rate I think the issue is wether we can look wholeheartedly in the mirrior and love ourselves. Sadly, many of us cant…Hence our fixation with things and people that have nothing to do with us!
