Ya know, I can’t be alone in thinking the best way to get a good clip of something amazing, is to just hand a little kid a cam and wait till’ they come back and ask “What is that??”. This hoax looks great, I can’t fake that, and would like to know the details on how to make it look so real, it is a true work of art. I just want something legit. Sadly, it will just get harder to tell the truth from fiction in the future. How bad does that suck? We have more & better cams, and more & better scams.

It was the palm trees that gave the game away: the video contains identical trees, revealing it as a computer generated, synthetic scene. I knew that realistic trees swaying in a digital breeze are a hallmark effect of relatively inexpensive computer animation software called Vue dEsprit, and suspected that the hoax was a viral advertisement for Vues newest release.
